Himachali Milan : 55th annual function

Zila Mandi Jan Kalyan Sabha is going to celebrate its 55th Annual Function and Sair Festival (Himachali Milan) on Saturday, 17th September 2016 at Shah Auditorium, Gujrati Samaj, Raj Niwas Marg, Delhi-110054 from 10 AM onwards.

The programme will be graced by several Ministers from Govt. of India, Ministers and Officials from Govt.of Himachal Pradesh, Members of Parliaments, Social Activists and many other dignitaries. 

Cultural Teams from dept. of culture and language, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh will be performing Himachali Folk Dance and other cultural programme.  Besides this, many other famous artists (Kalakaar) will also give their performances.

Himachali Dham will be served

All the Mandians and Himachalis are cordially invited to attend and enjoy the occasion.

 

35th Free Surgical Eye Camp

35th Free Surgical Eye Camp

It was a matter of great pleasure to all of us as members that Sabha organized its 35th Free Surgical Eye Camp with the help of the Palampur Rotary Eye Foundation at Village Khaddar, Tehsil Lad-Bharol, Distt. Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. It  was held from November 7th, to November 9th, 2015. [Screening, surgery and post-operative examination and discharge respectively].

The camp this year was sponsored by Sh. KK Saklani, leading exporter of stitched clothes, resident of Tehsil Lad-Bharol, in loving memory of his brother Sh. Madan Lal.

The people [especially elder ones] in general were notified and requested to make good use of our free services. Members of the Sabha were present at the location of the camp well in advance to organize and manage things effectively. On appeal of Sh. Kanshi Ram Verma, President and Sh.Kishorie Lal Sharma on behalf of Sabha, the general public suffering from eyes ailment joined the venue and saw the doctors and made the event a grand success.

We feel immense pleasure in informing the general public at large that so far more than 22,000 people have been benefited from our camps. 2650 cataract operations of very poor people have been successfully done free of cost with joint efforts of our sabha members, our sponsors, patrons, doners, our numerous advertisers and local voluenteers. Besides free medicines to all the patients, 5100 pairs of eye-sight spectacles to the identified patients have been distributed so far free of cost. 

We would also like to inform you that the Sabha has a plan to hold next such camp at Baldwara, Distt. Mandi with the financial help of Smt. Veena Chandel in the 2nd week of October, 2016. Sabha will inform the general public about the exact dates through our website and other mediums. We request everyone to join hands and make the upcoming camp even more successful.   

 
 

Himachali Milan : 54th annual function

Zila Mandi Jan Kalyan Sabha is going to celebrate its 54th Annual Function and Sair Festival (Himachali Milan) on Sunday, 20th September 2015 at Shah Auditorium, Gujrati Samaj, Raj Niwas Marg, Delhi-110054 from 10 AM onwards.

The Chief Guest of the programme will be Sh. J.P. Nadda, Hon'ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India. Besides this, Sh. Kaul Singh Thakur, Hon'ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Revenue and Law, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh and Sh. Ram Swaroop Sharma, Hon'ble Member Parliament (Mandi, H.P.) and many other dignitaries will also be gracing the function.

34th Free Surgical Eye Camp

34th Free Surgical Eye Camp

It is a matter of great pleasures to all of us as members that Sabha to organize its 34th Free Surgical Eye Camp with the help of the Palampur Rotary Eye Foundation at Pangna , Tehsil- Karsog, Distt. Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. It is scheduled to be held on May 10, to May 12, 2014. [Screening, surgery and post-operative examination and discharge respectively].

The people [especially elder ones] in general are notified and requested to make good use of our free services. Members of the Sabha would be reaching well in advance on the place. Sh. Kanshi Ram Verma the President and Sh.Kishorie Lal Sharma on behalf of Sabha appeal to the general public suffering from eyes ailment must come to the venue and see the doctors and expecting a great support from the locals to make the event a grand success.

As usual the entire expenses of the Camp [surgery, medicines etc.] are borne by the MANDI SABHA (Delhi) engaged in humanitarian and community services for half a century (50 years).

Himachali Milan & Serr Utsav Celebrated

Serr Utsav

Today 14th of September , 2013. District mandi Jankalyan Sabha (Delhi) organized its 52nd Annual Function -the Himachali Milan and lovingly called ‘Serr’ Festival. It was celebrated at Shah Auditorium Complex, Shree Delhi Gujrati Smaj,  Civil Lines,  Delhi-10054.

The Parv inaugurated by the chief Guest Sh. Kaul Singh Thakur Hon’ble Minister Health and Family welfare, Revenue and Law & Justice Govt. 0f Himachal Pradesh and preside over by Padamshree Dr. D.S.Rana, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. The auspicious presence of distinguished guests and various cultural troupes made the occasion a great memorable success.

The cultural troupes from Department of Language and culture Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, Sahitya kala Academy Delhi and The Hindi Academy Delhi -Govt. of  NCT of  Delhi won the hearts of the guest and audience with their marvelous performance.

As many as 2000 or more people origin of Himachal living in Delhi and NCR and from back home with families especially kids enjoyed the language and cultural program. The Mandi Sabha has chosen few social workers and philanthropists in order to bring their contribution into the light. There are the people in the society who love to put their bit in the service of mankind but want to stay away from the lime light, so the Sabha resolved to make out and honor them.

With the permission of the chair the General Secretary Sh. Sonu Ram Verma ji came up with the Annual Report and Charter of Demands on behalf of the people of Himachal Pradesh, followed by the Presidential Address by Sh. Kanshi Ram Verma ji. The program progressed in a very calm and interesting manner. It was a mixture of various cultural items presented on the Stage. The chief and distinguished guests along with folks enjoyed the event most and appreciated.
And now obviously it was a time for few words from the chief guest Hon’ble Sh.Kaul Singh Thakur. A man of few words addressed the audience his own people (Himachalis of Delhi) with all emotions, responded all the demands and appreciated keen interest the Mandi Jankalyan Sabha, has been taking for the welfare of poor, orphans and downtrodden back home. His good self announced a sum of Rs.11, 000.00 (Rupees Eleven thousand only) as a financial help and assured all possible helps in future in order to continue those humanitarian missions Mandi Sabha engaged in. Like yesteryears Mandi Sabha released the Souvenir so as to understand Mandi Sabha and its very purpose more precisely.

The program concluded with the vote of thanks to all the guests and folks. At last the chief Guest and dignitaries with entire audience guest requested to have and enjoy the flavor of  Dham (Mandyali flavoured Bhoj), sponsored by Sh. Manohar Thakur and Sh D.S Saklani and prepared by Sh. Dhananjay Sharma from Chel Chowk, Mandi. Kids those who are born and brought up in Delhi or outside Himachal enjoyed the program and Dham. now Mandi Sabha felt blessed with a wide smile on their cute faces.
